Job Summary

Job Description:

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) plays a pivotal role in leading the delivery and continual improvement of technology services for a major public sector client operating within a highly secure mission-critical environment. Acting as a trusted advisor to both customer and internal stakeholders the TAM is responsible for ensuring service excellence driving operational performance and aligning technology services with evolving business and operational priorities.

This role requires a confident and proactive leader who can navigate complex service environments manage technical and operational challenges and build strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups. The TAM coordinates cross-functional delivery teams oversees service governance monitors performance against contractual commitments and identifies opportunities for innovation automation and service improvement.

Working within a security-conscious and operationally critical setting the TAM champions a customer-centric approach ensuring technology services deliver measurable value support frontline operations and contribute to broader organisational objectives. The successful candidate will combine strong service leadership stakeholder management and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence and drive outcomes across multiple teams and partners.

Essential Job Functions:
Manage the day-to-day delivery of assigned client accounts.
Collaborate with Account Delivery Associates to ensure smooth account operations.
Develop and maintain client relationships to understand their needs.
Assist in budget management and cost control for the accounts.
Work with senior leadership to define and track key performance metrics.
Stay informed about industry trends and their impact on account strategies.
Address and resolve account-related issues and escalate when necessary.
Provide regular updates on account performance.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proven relevant work experience in industry with experience in a similar role
Proven experience in account delivery and leadership roles
Proficiencies in strategic planning client relationship management and team leadership
Continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology

Other Qualifications:
An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) is a plus
