Job Summary

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Knowsleyto assist with the appointment of a Team Manger on a 3-month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 27.00 - 35.82 per hour

Summary:

An experienced Team Manager Help & Protect (CIN and CP) to lead direct and motivate Child Protection Teams within Knowsley Childrens Services.This is an exciting opportunity to join Childrens Social Care during an ongoing improvement journey helping to drive better outcomes for children young people and their families.

The successful candidate will provide strong leadership to social work teams ensure high-quality social care practice and contribute to the continued improvement of Childrens Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead direct and motivate teams delivering Children in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) services.
  • Provide effective operational and professional leadership to social work staff.
  • Manage and support staff to deliver high-quality social care services.
  • Complete regular staff supervision and support continuous professional development.
  • Manage staff and resources effectively to meet service requirements.

Essentials:

  • Qualified Social Worker with significant social work experience.
  • Current professional registration with Social Work England.
  • Highly experienced in Childrens Social Care.
  • Experience of working within Children in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) services.
  • Proven experience of managing and leading social work staff and teams.
  • Experience of completing staff supervision and supporting staff development.

  • You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
  • You should have right to work in U.K
  • This role requires an Enhanced DBS
