We are looking for a Team Leader to take forward our Sensing Change service - a specialist team supporting people with sight and/or hearing loss across Suffolk.
This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing passionate team and shape a service that delivers meaningful outcomes every day.
Your role and responsibilities
As Team Manager for Sensing Change you will provide strong visible leadership to a skilled and specialist workforce ensuring the delivery of high-quality social work rehabilitation and support for people with sight and/or hearing loss across Suffolk.
You will lead with confidence in a complex and evolving environment driving a culture of innovation quality and continuous improvement. With a clear focus on person-centred and strengths-based practice you will support your team to deliver positive outcomes and promote independence for the people we work with.
Working collaboratively across systems you will build effective partnerships with colleagues in health social care and the voluntary sector to ensure joined-up responsive services.
You will also be responsible for ensuring statutory duties are consistently met to a high standard while effectively managing demand resources and budgets to deliver a sustainable and high-performing service.
You will need
- A relevant Social Work or Rehabilitation qualification.
- Leadership experience within Adult Social Care
- Strong knowledge of the Care Act.
- An understanding of sensory loss.
- Experience of managing budgets and delivering service improvement.
- A commitment to Equality Diversity and Inclusion.
