Job Summary
Be part of the driving force behind our established Independent Living Service team.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Team Manager to lead and develop our Independent Living Service for young people leaving care. This is a pivotal role ensuring that the support we provide is of the highest quality person-centred and fully compliant with Ofsted regulations and expectations.

The Team Manager role
You will work with an established team re-enforcing positive support being delivered and establishing the same standards with new placements. You will lead and develop your team to implement a strengths based trauma informed approach to empower young people in improving their independent living skills in our high-quality homes.
You will help to ensure the rota is covered with suitably trained staff help with on-call duties shared amongst all managers and implement new strategies and initiatives to ensure the continued success and expansion of the service.
Due to the nature of the role and associated travel between our properties you will need to have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Our services span several areas across South Gloucestershire including Kingswood Yate Emersons Green Whitchurch and Henbury. Experience in supporting young people with independent living and management is essential.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone to work full-time 37.5 hours per week including public holidays with weekend and evening cover when needed (based on service needs). Cover on call is also required.

Position:Team Manager (1140)
Hours:Full-time 37.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Usually 9am-5pm Mon-Fri however some flexibility to work occasional evening & weekends is needed based on service needs. Cover for on call is also required.
Contract:Permanent
Location: Bristol South Gloucestershire and surrounding areas.
Pay:28210 per year

^Annual Leave entitlement will be pro-rata for Part-time staff. Working on public holidays due to a rota pattern will be compensated with time off in lieu. An extra day of leave accrues for each completed financial year (capped at 30 in total). Purchasing additional holidays is capped at 5 per year.
^^Contracted staff only. Business mileage (45p a mile) is paid for any daily miles over and above the distance from your home to the allocated workplace location and back. Youll need awell-maintained vehicle with valid tax MOT andInsurance covering business use.
