Team Leader-Shrewsbury Support living
Are you an experienced Support Worker ready to take the next step in your career We are looking for a dedicated Team Leader to work across Shrewsbury Supported Living . As a Team Leader you will support the Service Manager to oversee the day to day running of seven services in a supported Living setting and are looking to expand. You will ensure high-quality person-centred care is delivered at all times support the team to attend a range of activities including local walks local discos football matches and comic con events.
Key responsibilities as a Team Leader you will;
- Mentor coach and develop team members to reach their full potential
- Conduct audits spot checks and record this information accurately
- Oversee medication management in line with policy and procedures
- Promote independence choice and community participation for the PWS
- Coordinate Staff rotas shift planning and service coverage
- Must have a good understanding of PBS safeguarding and compliance
- Lead by example in a positive inclusive culture
What we are looking for
- Experience in Adult social care (Level 3 or working towards this qualification)
- Experience leading supervising & mentoring a team
- Passionate about delivering high quality care
- Excellent communication & organisational skills
- Ability to motivate others & build positive working relationships
