Team Leader

• As a Team Leader you will lead and support your allocated team to deliver quality work safely efficiently and in line with production schedules. You will promote a strong safety culture ensure compliance with the FGS Plymouth Business Management System (BMS) and drive high standards of quality environmental performance and operational excellence while supporting continuous improvement across the factory.

• Lead allocated teams in the delivery of works.
• Drive works through the factory.
• Maintains the standards of workmanship (quality).
• Is responsible for maintaining traceability for all materials and associated paperwork (WIP and Quality Records).
• Daily report on progress of works complete.
• Ensure fully utilised and productive staff at all times.
• Ensure that all Environmental and waste management controls are followed by your team.
• Identify and report to Area Manager / Production Support Team on any HSE incidents or issues causing non-value added effort from the team.

Essential

• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise work effectively.
