Job Summary

Specialist Resource TA4 required as soon as possible.

The Executive Headteacher children staff and governors are looking to appoint an outstanding L4 practitioner/HLTA to join our KS1 and 2 resource bases for children with cognition and learning needs. You will be joining a staff team at Winterton that puts its values at the heart of practice. Children come first and our mission is to ensure that every individual is given the chance to flourish.

The role will include engaging children with learning activities and helping them maintain focus promote their learning and academic progress and support them with any special educational needs.

The ideal Teaching Assistant will hold a level 3/4 qualification or hold HLTA status. They should have experience of whole class teaching and have the skills to contribute to planning and assessment. They should be energetic flexible patient and be highly motivated to help children reach their full potential. Experience working with high needs pupils/special school or SRP experience would be advantageous.

is able to develop and maintain relationships with parents and the community;
have or be working towards relevant experience/qualifications linked to the requirements of the position.
