• Ancora House Tier 4 inpatient unit on the Countess of Chester Health Park for young people who have been admitted to the Adolescent Mental Health Unit under tier 4 CAMHS. Also on this site is Sapphire Ward; a day provision for young people under the Cheshire Eating Disorder Team who are enrolled on an intensive intervention programme and young people requiring an inpatient stay in the Integrated Eating Disorder Unit (IEDU)

Our Young People

Our learners may present with a range of challenges including Social Emotional and Mental Health needs such as eating disorders psychosis low mood and anxiety disorders; often young people may have other diagnoses alongside these they may include Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Autism or obsessive compulsive disorder.

Our Team

You will be working as part of a team of professionals who are dedicated to improving outcomes for learners who are at risk of disadvantage because of their difficulties. You will have a high degree of emotional warmth and resilience coupled with a passion to supporting young people. Successful candidates will have a sound understanding of trauma informed practice alongside experience of supporting the learning of young people who have special educational needs related to social emotional and mental health difficulties.
