Wayman Education is currently recruiting for a Teacher of Humanities to join a secondary academy in Carlisle. This opportunity would suit a teacher with a strong Humanities background who is able to deliver engaging lessons and support students across the curriculum.
Teach Humanities across the relevant secondary key stages.
Deliver engaging lessons that develop students knowledge and analytical skills.
Plan and prepare high-quality resources.
Assess and monitor student progress.
Contribute positively to the wider school community.
QTS or recognised teaching qualification.
Strong Humanities subject knowledge.
Experience teaching History Geography Religious Studies or related subjects.
Strong classroom management.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Passionate about developing students knowledge and critical thinking.
