The successful candidate will deliver high-quality intellectually stimulating Economics instruction primarily across Key Stage 5 (A-Level Microeconomics and Macroeconomics) with potential contributions to Key Stage 4 introductory modules.
Working alongside experienced commercial educators you will guide Sixth Form students through economic modeling quantitative data analysis market failure evaluation and macroeconomic policy critique. This is a full-time ongoing or permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
Teach high-impact A-Level Economics lessons in line with exam board specifications (AQA/Edexcel)
Develop students quantitative data analysis economic diagrammatic reasoning and evaluative essay writing
Monitor track and assess student performance to ensure high attainment in external A-Level examinations
Mentor Sixth Form pupils preparing university applications for Economics Finance and PPE
Lead co-curricular activities such as Stock Market competitions Young Enterprise teams and Economics debate clubs
Serve as a Sixth Form Tutor delivering pastoral support academic tracking and high-level UCAS references

Candidate Requirements

Exceptional understanding of micro and macroeconomic theories market structures and international trade
