The Opportunity

Looking for a role that offers more than just compliance As a Tax Manager / Assistant Manager youll work with a diverse range of clients tackle complex tax challenges and gain valuable exposure to advisory projects all while developing your career within a supportive and ambitious team.

What Youll Be Doing

As our Tax Manager / Assistant Manager youll be responsible for:

• Manage a portfolio across a range of client types (e.g. owner-managed businesses larger corporates and groups including cross border tax considerations).
• Review and oversee high-quality delivery of tax returns and computations ensuring technical accuracy and deadlines are met.
• Identify risk areas improve processes and ensure consistent standards across the portfolio.
• Spot opportunities in the client base and proactively raise them with Partners/Directors.
• Translate complex tax into clear practical advice clients understand.
• Coach and support junior team members; review work and develop capability.
• Contribute to a collaborative culture and help strengthen technical and service delivery standards.

What Were Looking For

Were keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:

• Proven experience at Manager level (minimum) in practice with a track record across mixed tax compliance and some advisory. RE: Job specs Outlook
• Strong client handling skills and the confidence to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
• Technically curious and commercially minded you enjoy advising not just filing.
• Qualification such as CTA / ACA / ACCA / ATT (or qualified by experience) depending on the level/portfolio.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach
• A commitment to delivering excellent client service
