What Youll Do At Elekta:

As our Senior Tax Specialist youll split your time between managing core tax compliance activities and providing advisory support across EMEA and APAC. From UK tax reporting and VAT to international projects transfer pricing and Pillar 2 initiatives youll enjoy a varied role with both technical depth and international exposure.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage all UK tax matters including Corporation Tax compliance and reporting VAT oversight and R&D tax incentives (including Patent Box and RDEC)

  • Act as the main point of contact with HMRC for all UK tax-related matters

  • Partner with external auditors providing support on tax and broader accounting requirements

  • Oversee transfer pricing activities including preparation of the Local File and coordination with external advisors globally

  • Ensure compliance with Country-by-Country reporting and other international tax requirements

  • Review corporate tax returns across EMEA & APAC ensuring alignment with tax provisions and conducting quarterly tax reconciliations and analysis

  • Own and manage indirect tax across the region including VAT software implementation optimisation of foreign VAT reclaims and technical advisory support

  • Act as the key contact for Pillar 2 ensuring local compliance and supporting global implementation efforts

  • Provide tax support across EMEA & APAC managing queries projects and partnering closely with regional stakeholders and external advisors

  • Support global tax governance including maintaining documentation contributing to DAC6 reporting and monitoring new tax legislation and its financial impact

What Youll Bring:

  • Qualified Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) or Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional certification. You can also be working towards this.

  • Proven experience (3 years) in public accounting or within a corporate tax environment.

  • Strong UK tax compliance experience and solid understanding of tax accounting under IAS 12

  • Exposure to international tax matters and multi-jurisdictional environments is desired.
