Job Summary
Leeds ASAP Permanent Full-time
A well-established secondary school in Leeds is looking for a confident Safeguarding Officer to join its dedicated pastoral and safeguarding team.
Youll work closely with the DSL and school leaders to ensure safeguarding concerns are dealt with promptly and records remain accurate and up to date.
Monitor and respond to safeguarding concerns
Maintain safeguarding records and chronologies
Support referrals and child protection procedures
Follow up actions and outstanding concerns
Liaise with parents social care and external agencies
Assist with safeguarding meetings
Provide support and guidance to staff
Youll have previous school safeguarding or child protection experience and a strong understanding of safeguarding practice.
Excellent communication organisation and judgement are essential. Experience using CPOMS or a similar safeguarding system would be beneficial.
