Role: Software Support Specialist

Location: Dundee (Hybrid)

Grade: 10

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Provide software support to NCRs financial Self-Service software products
• Maintaining ownership of software support investigations debugging to product and component/configuration level this can include recreating in a lab environment when necessary
• Coordinate communications between all relevant teams as part of that support investigation
• Understanding and driving customer-focused requirements to provide a satisfactory solution to the reporting technical team
• Managing multiple support incidents of varying complexity and stages of investigation at any given time with the principle focus of customer satisfaction in mind
• Create knowledge articles within NCRs Knowledge Base

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this role the candidate must possess the following level of education and experience

• Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
• 3 Years of experience in software support or a related field
• Knowledge of McAfee ePO Encryption and Endpoint Security Solution
• Knowledge on SQL Server or any other database
• Knowledge of AD Load balancer
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge on ATM solution is a plus
