Job Title: Senior Vice President (SVP) People Assurance

Location: UK- Hybrid (Covent Garden)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Vice President (SVP) People Assurance to join BSI as a key member of the global People Leadership Team.

This is a highly strategic leadership role partnering closely with the Divisional President and senior leaders to shape and deliver the people strategy across our Assurance division. You will play a critical role in driving organisational effectiveness leadership capability workforce transformation and cultural evolution within a complex global matrixed environment.

The successful candidate will act as both a trusted advisor and strategic influencer ensuring the People function delivers measurable business value while embedding BSIs people operating model governance and leadership principles.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior business leaders to shape and deliver divisional people strategy aligned to business priorities

• Lead and develop a team of People Business Partners driving high-quality commercially focused partnering

• Support large-scale transformation organisational design workforce planning and change initiatives

• Provide strategic guidance on succession planning restructures capability development and talent strategies

• Build strong partnerships across People Operations and Centres of Expertise to deliver integrated people solutions

• Use data insight and commercial understanding to influence senior stakeholders and support decision-making

• Coach and support leaders to strengthen organisational health leadership effectiveness and culture

• Ensure governance risk and people implications are considered in strategic business decisions

• Champion and role model BSIs culture values and behaviours across the organisation

To be successful in the role you will have

• Significant experience in senior People leadership roles within complex global matrixed organisations

• Proven experience leading People Business Partners or equivalent senior HR leadership teams

• Strong strategic business partnering capability with the ability to influence at executive level

• Demonstrated success leading large-scale change transformation or organisational initiatives

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance business performance and people outcomes

• Expertise in organisational design workforce planning and leadership capability development

• Exceptional stakeholder management communication and influencing skills

• Ability to operate effectively through complexity and ambiguity

• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capability

• Degree qualified or equivalent professional experience
