Supported Living Service Manager

Salary:

Our client is looking for an experienced and driven Supported Accommodation Service Manager to lead the setup and ongoing development of a high-quality supported accommodation service.

This is a key leadership opportunity for a motivated professional who can ensure the service is fully compliant operationally effective and delivers outstanding person-centred support to residents.

The ideal candidate will be a confident and proactive manager who can take ownership of establishing and growing a supported accommodation provision. The role combines operational leadership compliance and business development with a strong focus on building relationships to drive referrals and occupancy.

What Were Looking For

  • Previous managerial experience within Supported Accommodation Supported Living or Residential Care
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of service setup compliance and policy implementation
  • Experience working with local authorities and referral pathways
  • Understanding of safeguarding risk management and care regulations
  • Proven leadership and service management experience
  • Ability to work independently and build services from the ground up
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the setup and development of the supported accommodation service
  • Develop and implement policies procedures and operational frameworks in line with legislation and best practice
  • Ensure the service operates in a safe compliant and person-centred manner
  • Oversee all aspects of care and support delivery
  • Manage safeguarding processes and ensure high standards of resident welfare
  • Build strong relationships with local authorities councils and commissioning teams to secure referrals and placements
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards
  • Support recruitment onboarding and management of staff
  • Monitor occupancy levels and contribute to service growth
  • Maintain accurate records reporting systems and documentation
  • Work closely with senior leadership to drive performance and continuous improvement
