About the Service

ESL Nuthall is a CQC-registered supported living service in Nottingham providing high-quality person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities mental health needs physical disabilities dual diagnoses and complex needs. Our aim is to empower people to live as independently as possible make their own choices and achieve positive outcomes within their local communities.

The service operates across two locations. Our main supported living site on Nuthall Road near Cinderhill supports up to 15 individuals across several properties within the complex as well as one outreach customer living nearby. We also operate a single-person satellite service in Hyson Green. Across both services dedicated staff provide 24-hour support tailored to each individuals needs goals and aspirations.

The service is led by a Registered Manager supported by one Assistant Manager one Care Co-ordinator and 3 Senior Support Workers alongside a skilled team of Support Workers and Care Assistants. Together they deliver safe responsive and outcome-focused support while promoting independence wellbeing and social inclusion.

Please note: The service office is located on the first floor and can only be accessed via an external flight of stairs. Alternative meeting arrangements can be made where required.

About the Role

As our Registered Manager you will have overall responsibility for the leadership performance and day-to-day management of our supported living services ensuring the delivery of safe high-quality person-centred support that meets the needs of the people we serve. You will lead and develop a multidisciplinary team creating a positive and inclusive culture where colleagues feel supported valued and empowered to achieve excellent outcomes. The role includes responsibility for service quality safeguarding compliance health and safety workforce planning financial performance and continuous improvement ensuring all contractual regulatory and organisational standards are consistently met.

Working closely with customers families commissioners health and social care professionals and other partners you will build and maintain effective relationships that support service delivery and drive positive outcomes. You will use customer feedback performance data and risk management processes to inform decision-making monitor service effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement. You will also contribute to the development of new business opportunities and wider organisational objectives helping to shape and grow services that make a lasting difference to peoples lives.

Working Hours

The role is mainly completed within office hours with some occasional early mornings late evenings weekend and/or overnight working must have flexibility to meet the needs of the service.

What youll bring

We are looking for an experienced and confident manager who can lead high-quality services support teams to perform well and ensure positive outcomes for service users and tenants. You will bring strong leadership skills sound judgement and a clear commitment to delivering person-centred support in a regulated care housing or supported living environment.

You will also have comprehensive knowledge of the needs and requirements of our customers with the ability to use this understanding to shape effective service delivery. As a successful candidate you will have substantial management experience within a social care environment alongside proven experience of supported housing or care settings. You will be confident managing budgets and financial processes supporting change within teams and developing colleagues through effective performance management supervision and support.

You will hold a minimum NVQ Level 5 QCF Diploma Level 5 or equivalent qualification in Management or Leadership Health and Social Care. You must be able and willing to register with CQC. You will bring a good level of numeracy literacy and IT skills together with the ability to analyse information make informed decisions and maintain high standards of service quality. Just as importantly you will understand and value the needs of people from diverse social cultural and racial backgrounds and will be committed to modelling NCHAs CLEAR values and purpose. A driving licence and accessto a vehicle is required unless a disabilityprecludesthis.
