Job Summary

Support Worker Complex Care (Learning Disabilities)
Runcorn

14.00 - 15.50 per hour Perm Fulltime

Rolling Shift Pattern
3 on 4 off
4 on 3 off
12 Hour Shifts - 1 hour unpaid break
8am -8pm
8pm - 8am

Were looking for caring resilient and dedicated Support Workers to join a specialist Learning Disabilities and Complex Care service in Liverpool.

Youll be supporting adults with learning disabilities autism complex needs and behaviours that may challenge helping them to live fulfilling independent lives in a safe person-centred environment.

What Youll Be Doing
  • Supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex care needs

  • Encouraging independence choice and community participation

  • Providing personal care where required

  • Supporting individuals with positive behaviour support plans

  • Assisting with medication and daily living activities

  • Building positive trusting relationships with the people you support

  • Maintaining accurate records and following individual care plans

  • Promoting dignity respect and person-centred care at all times

What Were Looking For
  • Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or complex care needs is desirable

  • Experience supporting individuals with autism behaviours that challenge or mental health needs is advantageous

  • A caring patient and compassionate approach

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A commitment to delivering high-quality person-centred support

  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends where required
