About the Role

As a Support Worker no two days are ever the same. Youll provide high-quality person-centred support inour services in Market Weighton helping people to live as independently as possible while enjoying fulfilling lives.

A Full UK Driving Licence is required for this role.

Shift Patterns

Our services operate 24 hours a day so shifts may include:

• Day shifts

• Night shifts

• Weekend working

• Sleep-in shifts

Youll have the flexibility to choose shifts that suit your availability.

As a Support Worker You Will:

• Support people with everyday living tasks including cooking cleaning and shopping

• Assist with managing finances medication and healthcare appointments

• Encourage participation in hobbies social activities and the local community

• Promote independence and support individuals to achieve their personal goals

• Build meaningful trusting relationships while providing emotional support

• Deliver high-quality person-centred support for people with complex needs

About the People Youll Support

The gentlemen we support enjoy a wide range of activities both at home and in their local communities. They love getting creative with arts and crafts helping to cook meals and taking pride in keeping their homes clean and tidy.

They also enjoy swimming bowling cinema trips meals out and exploring new places. Youll support them to maintain healthy lifestyles by assisting with meal planning attending health appointments managing medication and encouraging them to try new experiences and achieve their goals.
