A high-performing secondary school in Hertfordshire is seeking an experienced Safeguarding Officer to strengthen its pastoral and child protection team.
Working alongside the DSL youll play an important role in managing safeguarding concerns and ensuring pupils receive timely and appropriate support.
Manage day-to-day safeguarding concerns
Maintain CPOMS and safeguarding records
Support referrals and multi-agency communication
Monitor safeguarding actions and chronologies
Liaise with pupils families and professionals
Support safeguarding meetings and casework
Assist with safeguarding audits and compliance
Previous school safeguarding experience is essential alongside a strong understanding of child protection procedures and Keeping Children Safe in Education.
