About the Role

To facilitate the submission of Housing Benefit and Discretionary Housing Payment claims for households residing in emergency accommodation or transitioning into private rented accommodation and to support the Temporary and Supported Accommodation Team in maximising income recovery linked to the provision of emergency accommodation.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Ability to advocate and negotiate on behalf of citizens and offer independent advice.
  • Drive and motivation ability to deliver against challenging objectives.
  • Ability to be creative to be able to identify problems and work to create solutions.
  • Knowledge of housing legislation in the public and private sector.
