Support Officer (Telecare) - Grade 4 - 31161 to 33987pa 36 hours per week permanent position (office based)

We are seeking someone with great attention to detail and a common sense approach to their work. You will provide effective and responsive administrative support for allocated operational activity in a robust timely efficient and cost effective expect you to take ownership of the role and we will listen to any feedback or suggestions in regards to developing the effectiveness of the Supporting Officers position.

Havering Telecare Centre are responsible for providing life-saving devices and assistive technology to elderly and vulnerable residents in the borough. We provide an installation and response service responding to falls and other medical emergencies.

We work closely with Adult Social Services the NHS and other partner organisations handling referrals ensuring safe hospital discharges and enabling individuals to live independently despite health conditions and other challenging life circumstances.

The service also manages the delivery of Havering Councils Building Alarm Monitoring Team and our Out of Hours service.

The position holder must have experience in an admin or support officer role demonstrate a high level of competence when using Microsoft office applications particularly word excel and outlook and communicate effectively and professionally via the phone and through emails.
