Supplies Co-ordinator
Location: Fitzwilliam Hospital Peterborough
Full Time: 37.5 weekly hours
Shift Pattens: Monday Friday 7am-3pm flexible around store opening time 7am-4pm.
The Role:
We are looking for a motivated and proactive Supplies Co-Ordinator to join our busy Hospital Supplies team within a private healthcare environment.
This is a varied hands-on role combining stock control stores operations and administration. You will spend time receiving deliveries scanning and replenishing stock across hospital departments. Processing orders and supporting colleagues to ensure clinical teams always have the supplies they need to deliver excellent patient care.
This role involves regular movement around the hospital and combines practical stores work with computer-based administration.
Full training will be provided with opportunities to learn all areas of the department and develop into a well-rounded member of the Hospital supplies team.
There might be a requirement to travel to our sister hospital Boston West.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive check and account for deliveries using the hospital stock management system.
Put stock away safely and accurately within stores and clinical departments.
Carry out routine stock checks and process replenishment orders.
Maintain stock levels within allocated hospital departments.
Raise and monitor purchase orders with approved suppliers.
Assist with stock takes and inventory management activities.
Investigate and resolve routine supplier invoice queries.
Upload delivery documentation and maintain accurate records.
Process departmental orders including stationary and uniforms.
Provide cross-cover across different supply areas as required

Professional and confident when communicating with colleagues and suppliers.
Keen to learn all areas of the Hospital supplies department.
Essential Skills:
Strong IT skills
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
High attention to detail
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)
Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Able to undertake regular walking lifting and movement of stock around the hospital.
Desirable Experience:
Experience within stores warehouse logistics stock control or retail stock management would be advantageous although full training will be required.
Healthcare experience. (Not essential)
Experience using inventory management systems.
