TheSuffolk Office of Data and Analytics (SODA)is an exciting innovative function set up by Suffolks public service organisations with the purpose of developing new joined-up insights to inform policy and service design and delivery. SODA is hosted by Suffolk County Councils Public Health Communities and Public Safety Directorate.
Your role and responsibilities
The topics that youwill be covering are usually highly relevant to current and future social economic and environmental challenges with SODAs work covering a wide range of areas including economic growth social care health criminal justice housing environment and many more.
The role also offers excellent opportunities to understand a range of different organisations and meet a range of different professionals.
Produce and present output of data analysis appropriate for a diverse audience to provide the best evidence base to support decision making across SODA partners.
You will be key to providing the best insight knowledge and intelligence we possibly can.
What you will need
You will need to bring statistical analytical abilities; investigative skills including the ability to interpret data and other types of information; effective communication and partnership working skills; the ability to produce pictorial information which can communicate data and issues in a clear way to a non-specialist audience; and a passion for data-driven problem-solving.
