Job Summary
A Studio Sample Assistant will be focused on databasing Home samples as they come in and out of the studios. You will play a key role in the scanning wrapping and loading of Home furniture samples and will be responsible for transporting these on a weekly basis between our Head Office and London studios.
Responsibilities:
- Using the studio database register home products onto the system ready to transport between studios.
- Utilize various studio tools to complete your day-to-day tasks.
- Securely wrap all home samples including heavy furniture (sofas beds cabinets etc).
- Transport samples between all studio sites using the company van (in line with company procedures) Head Office Buzz - Leighton Buzzard Premier Park (near Wembley) and to Elmsall as and when required including Huncote/Meridian warehouse
- Loading and unloading the studio van.
- Produce accurate delivery notes for deliveries
- Collection and returns of hire props and equipment for photo shoots.
- Organise and book 3rd party deliveries where required.
- Responsible for the safety of colleagues and yourself in the workplace. To report or deal with any hazards incidents and accidents.
- Demonstrate the ability to work within health & safety guidelines.
- You may be required to work at other studio locations on request.
- Support HOME trend shoots on locations.
- Drive company vehicles in accordance with company procedures (including all safety checks) and between sites when required (including Luton van)
- Assist in Ad hoc duties as set out by the Senior Sample Coordinator or Warehouse manager when required.
About you
- Full UK driving licence essential. Experience in driving a van would be desired.
- Must be physically fit due to the heavy lifting of samples.
- Mac/ PC literate & have some level of experience in data input.
- Have excellent attention to detail and organisation skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to work within health & safety guidelines.
- Be able to contribute and work effectively within a team environment and as part of the wider studio team.
- Be able to plan and prioritise your own workload.
- Be able to work well under pressure have a flexible attitude and be responsive to change.
