• Hours: 37 hours per week 39 weeks per year 8.00 am - 4.00 pm Monday - Thursday 8.00 am - 3.30 pm Friday with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break

Anglian Learning is pleased to share with you an exciting opportunity for a Student Support Officer to join Stour Valley Community School.

Duties include:

• supporting the Raising Standards Leads in providing pastoral care and behaviour support to the students
• supporting the systems that will enable the school to improve on the base figures on attendance and truancy as set by the government
• providing support to allow students to better cope with the challenges they face.

You will need:

• experience of working with children in a professional setting
• the ability to write detailed reports letters and complete complex returns
• the ability to establish respectful and trusting relationships with children their families carers and other adults
• good organisational skills to manage your time effectively.
