Job Summary
Here at Marlborough Highways we are looking for an experienced Street Lighting Manager to oversee operations maintenance and HERS compliance across our North London borough contracts specifically covering Newham Havering Haringey Camden and Hackney
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 3 street lighting supervisors who oversee day-to-day street lighting illuminated sign and bollard operations across the Newham Havering Haringey Camden and Hackney network
- Ensure full compliance with HERS (Highway Electrical Registration Scheme) and NERS (National Electricity Registration Scheme) standards
- Coordinate closely with local authority clients supervisors and internal teams to deliver term maintenance contracts
- Monitor work progress KPIs safety standards and permit/streetworks regulations
- Commercial contractual and stock control awareness for monthly reporting
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience in a street lighting or highway electrical management role
- Strong knowledge of HERS NERS G39 and relevant industry health and safety standards
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for client-facing council relations
- Full UK driving licence
