TheStrategic Buyeris responsibleforestablishing long-term purchase orders/contracts in SAP and approval of Purchase Orders below a given threshold.Alsowill be managing overall vendor communication negotiation and mitigation of price increase requests.

This positionreports to theSupplier Relationship Managerandis part of theStrategicSoucingTeamlocated inRedruthand willbeanon-siterolewith some travel to visit suppliers required periodically.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

• Establishing long-term purchase orders/contracts in SAP approval of Purchase Orders below a given thresholdMaintainingup-to-date Purchasing Information RecordsManagesource lists in accordance with commodity strategy and supplier quality guidance Timely upkeep of Vendor Master Data to enable and streamline tactical PO Placement

• Managing overall vendor communicationNegotiation and mitigation of price increase requestsMaintainingfavourablepayment termsParticipatingin supplier visits andmeetings as required Supplier rationalization development and transition (outsourcing insourcing vendor to vendor)

• Identification execution and sustainment of projects in support of the Global Commodity Strategy Addition and timely maintenance of projects in theiSourceProject Management Tool Tactical and Strategic Pursuit of Pall Industrial Sourcing KPI Targets in: Purchase Price Change (PPC) Purchase Price Variance (PPV) Supplier Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) Value Analysis Value Engineering (VAVE) Supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD) e-Auctions Request for Quotations (RFQs) and Purchase Volume (PVO) Support the ongoing Sourcing Visual Management Process to meet project timelines and maintain cross-functional accountability

• Support monitor and mentor the site materials team membersWork in accordance with escalation procedures to mitigate disruptive material shortage Ensure Purchasing policies and strategies are understood andimplemented Partnerwith relevant site-level stakeholders (Manufacturing Quality Engineeringetc) to facilitate project completion Interface with Materials Team to ensure manufacturing site inputs / requirements are aligned with commodity strategy

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Educated to A level standard professional qualification - CIPS or with experiencein a similar role

• Ideally experience of working with MRP systems such as SAP ExcelPowerpoint Supplier Databases

• Aerospace and/or manufacturing site experience would be advantageous

Travel Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travelboth national and internationally anything up to once per month as required

• Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
