Store Supervisor Trafford Centre

As a Supervisor at Skechers youll be at the heart of our store helping to create an amazing experience for our customers while inspiring and motivating the team to achieve their goals. Working a full-time 40-hour contract youll play a key role in leading the team on the sales floor driving sales performance supporting daily operations and ensuring our store consistently delivers the high standards our customers expect. Youll work closely with the management team take ownership of your shift and lead by example to create a positive energetic and customer-focused environment.

Previous retail Supervisor experience is essential for this role along with the confidence and ability to lead motivate and support a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility is also essential with availability required across all days of the week including mornings evenings and weekends.

As a Skechers Supervisor you will play an important role in the day-to-day success of the store. Working closely with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager you will help lead and motivate the team deliver an exceptional customer experience drive sales performance and ensure the store consistently meets Skechers standards.

What Were Looking For

• Previous retail Supervisor experience is essential for this role.

• Commercially aware with the ability to drive sales and achieve store and individual targets.

Customer Experience

• Lead by example in delivering an exceptional customer experience and ensuring customers receive knowledgeable friendly and engaging service.
• Support the team in understanding and delivering Skechers customer service expectations.
• Take ownership of customer queries concerns and complaints resolving issues professionally and escalating where appropriate.
• Maintain a strong presence on the sales floor and ensure the team remain engaged with customers.

Sales & Commercial Performance

• Support the management team in achieving and exceeding store sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Lead the team on the sales floor encouraging strong selling behaviours and a proactive approach to customer engagement.
• Monitor sales performance and use available KPI information to identify opportunities and support improvements.
• Promote multi-pair sales accessories apparel and other commercial opportunities.
• Communicate daily and weekly priorities to the team and help maintain focus throughout the shift.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead motivate and support the team to achieve their individual and store goals.
• Act as a positive role model demonstrating the behaviours and standards expected from the team.
• Provide regular coaching and feedback to Sales Associates to support their development and performance.
• Support the onboarding and training of new team members.
• Recognise strong performance and encourage a positive inclusive and collaborative team environment.
• Address performance or conduct concerns appropriately and communicate relevant issues to the management team.

Store Standards & Visual Merchandising

• Ensure the store consistently meets Skechers visual presentation and brand standards.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness organisation and product presentation throughout the store.
• Ensure promotional material signage and visual merchandising are correctly implemented.
• Conduct regular sales-floor walks and take ownership of maintaining standards throughout the shift.
• Lead by example in maintaining the expected standard of the store during both busy and quieter periods.

Operations & Stock

• Support the management team with the smooth running of daily store operations.
• Ensure operational tasks are completed accurately and within required timescales.
• Support opening and closing procedures including cash handling security store standards and end-of-day checks.
• Take responsibility for delegated tasks and ensure they are completed to the required standard.
• Follow all Skechers policies and procedures including health & safety loss prevention and company standards.

Leadership & Accountability

• Take responsibility for leading the store and team during shifts when required.
• Effectively prioritise tasks and delegate responsibilities to ensure the team remains productive and customer-focused.
• Communicate clearly with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager regarding store performance staffing operational issues and team development.
• Demonstrate confidence when making decisions and resolving day-to-day challenges.
• Maintain a positive professional and energetic approach at all times.
