The School of Economics is seeking to appoint oneStipendiary Fellow on a full-time fixed-term basis for 24 months. This post is expected to commence in September 2026.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking outstanding candidates of demonstrated ability and high potential in the area of Applied Economics.

The role isaimed at final stage PhD students or recent PhDs in Economics who are seeking the opportunity to focus on teaching and research and to establish their credibility as candidates in the job market. We are looking for candidates with teaching and research expertise in Applied EconomicsThe role will be split between research (35%) and teaching (65%). Teaching could be at either or both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

The Successful candidate will receive:

• Personal mentoring support from a senior academic in the School of Economics;
• Access to staff training courses.

This is a full-time fixed-term post for 24 months only with a start date of 1^st September 2026 or shortly thereafter.
