As a Steri Nurse youll play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of infection prevention and instrument sterilisation across the clinic. Working closely with dentists nurses and the wider clinical team youll ensure all instruments equipment and treatment rooms are prepared maintained and compliant with regulatory standards helping deliver safe and exceptional patient care.
Cleaning disinfecting sterilising and packaging dental instruments and equipment.
Preparing treatment rooms and surgical trays according to clinical schedules.
Ensuring compliance with infection prevention and sterilisation protocols.
Monitoring sterilisation cycles equipment performance and maintenance records.
Managing instrument inventory and coordinating stock replenishment.
Maintaining accurate documentation and traceability records.
Supporting the clinical team with efficient surgery turnaround between patients.
Ensuring compliance with CQC GDC GDPR infection prevention protocols and all relevant UK clinical standards.
Dental Nursing qualification and GDC registration are desirable.
Previous training or experience in decontamination sterilisation or infection prevention is highly desirable.
Hepatitis B vaccination or willingness to provide proof of immunisation is required for clinical practice.
Previous experience in a dental practice or clinical environment is desirable.
Experience with instrument decontamination and sterilisation procedures is preferred.
Familiarity with infection prevention and cross-contamination protocols.
Experience supporting busy multidisciplinary dental teams is an advantage.

Clinical documentation and traceability processes.
Technology
Experience using digital clinical systems.
Experience with Dentally or similar practice management software is desirable.
Languages
Professional fluency in English.
This role is based onsite at Truly Hull: Unit 8 M Park Kingston Holderness Road Hull HU9 2AA.
The clinic is expected to open in November 2026 with clinical team members starting from October to support training onboarding and clinical setup.
Candidates must be flexible to work on a shift/rota basis.
The clinic will operate Monday to Sunday between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
GDC registration is desirable but not essential.
