Role:
We are recruiting Steel Fitter Mates to join our team for several high-profile construction and architectural projects across London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an hardworking individual to work alongside experienced Steel Fitters assisting with the installation of structural and architectural steelwork while developing valuable hands-on trade skills.
Key Responsibilities
Assist skilled Steel Fitters with the handling positioning and alignment of steel components beams and architectural metalwork.
Set up tools lifting equipment and materials at the work area ensuring the fitters have everything required to complete the task.
Safely load unload and move steel sections and fixings around the construction site.
Safely use basic hand and power tools (such as grinders drills and magnetic drills) under supervision.
Maintain a clean organized and safe working environment by clearing debris and storing equipment properly.
Strictly follow site health and safety guidelines especially when working at heights or around lifting operations.
Requirements & Qualifications
Some experience working on construction sites as a steel fitter mate is highly desirable.
CSCS Card
Able to follow instructions accurately take precise measurements and work well as part of a busy team.
Can use power tools.
A driving license or any basic safety tickets (like manual handling) is a plus.
Reliable physically fit for heavy lifting comfortable working at heights and eager to learn the trade.
