What do we doOur Technical Production and Costume Department plays a leading part in ensuring our performances are of the highest quality by delivering technical excellence for every performance rehearsal and we enter a busy period with end of season Opera/Ballet performances staff travelling for the Royal Ballet Tour and a summer of live events to deliver we require the support of a small pool of casual technicians to meet operational peaks and deliver performances rehearsals and casuals are required to work effectively as part of a team participating in all necessary technical work for a production from stores/workshops to rehearsal room to stage rehearsal and performance and return to stores ensuring that all assigned activities associated are carried out to the highest possible standard of safety efficiency and are we looking forIdeally we are looking for individuals with:A good level of stage bias technical experience in large scale theatreA broad range of stage bias technical skills and understanding of the requirements of other technical teams and departmentsA strong commitment to safe working practices including CDM2015Excellent teamwork and communication skills self-motivated to acquire new skills and knowledge within technical theatreTo apply please send your CV directly to Mark Loader Deputy Head of Stage on please do not try to apply via the online system - only CVs received via email as instructed will be considered.
