Glasgow Hospital Pre-Op Assessment Bank Ad-hoc Includes Evening & Weekend Work
Up to 25 per hour depending on experience
Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Staff Nurse in our hospital youll be attentive focused detail-oriented and registered with the appropriate governing body and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration including NMC. With post-registration experience youre a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.
As an Pre-Op Assessment Staff Nurse you will:
Pre Operative Assessing patients undergoing a variety of operations.
We require you to have a good knowledge of history taking understand the variety of procedures performed health assessment and promotion and treat the patient in a holistic manner that incorporates a thorough assessment of the patients health condition social circumstances and post operative recovery .
Be part of a close-knit team delivering matron-led care in a consultant-led service
As the first point of contact you will work with leading talent and professionals to make the right assessments for patients prior to their surgery
Demonstrate a broad knowledge base and assessment skills to ensure patient care
Fully understand and support the needs of each patient and their family
Offer comfort and reassurance providing the highest standards of care
Build your experience across new practices equipment and facilities
Work with practitioners in other areas understanding that continuity in patient care is key
