What You Will Do
Independently design and develop electrical components and subsystems for medical devices.
Develop apply and execute advanced electrical test methods prototyping activities and verification strategies.
Translate user needs into design inputs specifications and technical solutions that meet product requirements.
Investigate analyze and resolve complex electrical design issues using sound engineering judgement.
Conduct research and design studies to support new product development and product enhancements.
Generate and execute verification plans and protocols to validate solutions against requirements.
Lead the creation and maintenance of engineering documentation including schematics bills of materials design descriptions and work instructions.
Mentor colleagues on engineering practices quality system requirements industry standards and design control processes.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
Minimum 8 years of experience in a relevant engineering industry.
Advanced knowledge of electrical components manufacturing methods and common failure modes.
Ability to interpret analyse and evaluate electrical designs and system-level interactions.
Working knowledge of the electrical design and development process.
Proficiency in engineering documentation data analysis quality management systems and change control processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
Experience using circuit analysis tools test automation concepts software-to-hardware interface tools and object-oriented programming languages such as C C or C#.
