Staff Electrical Engineer

What You Will Do
- Independently design and develop electrical components and subsystems for medical devices.
- Develop apply and execute advanced electrical test methods prototyping activities and verification strategies.
- Translate user needs into design inputs specifications and technical solutions that meet product requirements.
- Investigate analyze and resolve complex electrical design issues using sound engineering judgement.
- Conduct research and design studies to support new product development and product enhancements.
- Generate and execute verification plans and protocols to validate solutions against requirements.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of engineering documentation including schematics bills of materials design descriptions and work instructions.
- Mentor colleagues on engineering practices quality system requirements industry standards and design control processes.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a relevant engineering industry.
- Advanced knowledge of electrical components manufacturing methods and common failure modes.
- Ability to interpret analyse and evaluate electrical designs and system-level interactions.
- Working knowledge of the electrical design and development process.
- Proficiency in engineering documentation data analysis quality management systems and change control processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
- Experience using circuit analysis tools test automation concepts software-to-hardware interface tools and object-oriented programming languages such as C C or C#.
