We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer with deep frontend expertise to design and deliver the experiences powering conversational AI shopping. Youll work alongside talented scientists engineers designers and product leaders to turn ambitious ideas into customer-facing reality at Amazon scale.

- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
- Experience leading the architecture and design (architecture design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
- Experience with full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations
- Experience with front-end software development
- Experience with programming languages like Python JavaScript Java or equivalent
- Knowledge of general AI tools
- Knowledge of AI native software development tools and methodologies

- Experience as a mentor tech lead or leading an engineering team
- Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle including coding standards software architectures code reviews source control management continuous deployments testing and operational excellence
- Masters degree in computer science or equivalent
