Sr. Financial Analyst

Amazons Prime Video team has an opening for a Senior Financial Analyst to support the APAC operational accounting activities of Prime Video.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable in dealing with ambiguity with a strong ability to prioritise multiple projects and to execute deliverables with excellent communication and to a high standard. The ability to influence stakeholders will also be essential to succeed in this role.

Key job responsibilities
Supporting aspects of our accounting and reporting process.
End-to-end process ownership to support finance and business partners.
Understand internal control design concepts to assess the effectiveness of controls and design new effective processes and controls for emerging and growing business activities.
Execute judgment and ensure the right decisions are reached to accurately report financial results.
Drive projects provide accounting guidance and often serve as first point of contact for finance and business partners to resolve issues.

- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
- Experience in identifying leading and executing opportunities to improve automate standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
- ACA CIMA ACCA or similar credentials required
- Experience of a monthly close cycle periodic financial reporting and related analytical analysis with a knowledge of various GAAP accounting rules including US GAAP and IFRS

- Excellent analytical skills
- Experience working with a fast-paced high-tech start-up or complex company
- Demonstrated history of solving multiple complex operational and accounting challenges
- Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills
- Experience working with Oracle
