Sqms 48 Sig Sqn (21477)

Working in support of 48 Sig Sqn in Birmingham.

1. To provide G4 support to enable 48 Sig Sqn to fulfil its role.
2. Responsible for the supervision and control of the Sqn Equipment table and all other stores accounts
associated within the Sqn.
3. Responsible for the rations feeding and accommodation of the Sqn when deployed on exercise and
providing a base admin facility. The incumbent of this post will be required to deploy to exercise
locations for ACT and weekend training to provide G4 support in the field for up to 35 nights of separated
service per year in accordance with FTRS (LC) TACOS.
4. Assist the PSI in the planning of exercises and training of Army Reserve personnel.
5. Assist the PSAO with health and safety and maintenance of the Army Reserve centre.
6. Responsible for the control of all demands store receipts and issue vouchers using both manual and
MJDI accounting procedures.
7. Assist other Heads of Departments in promoting and coordinating Equipment Care within the Squadron
8. Responsible for implementing policies and taskings from the QM dept.
9. Coordinate Sqn vehicle fleet and administer all MT procedures for vehicle use.
as required in accordance with TACOS.
