Sports Sales Executive

Job Summary
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our commercial team to drive sales - through golf days golf and resort memberships and sports camps.
Working alongside the sales golf and marketing team this is an amazing opportunity for a passionate and commercially driven individual in one of Scotland premier golf resorts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue across all business areas
- Identify prospect and secure new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sporting organisations golf societies clubs sports events agencies and corporate clients.
- Source and secure residential and non-residential sporting events such as but not limited to team camps golf tournaments and golf days.
- Promote and sell corporate golf memberships.
- Identify and target opportunities to secure new golf members.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing members to maximise retention and referral opportunities.
- Develop partnerships with local national and international sports organisations.
- Represent the business at networking events trade shows golf events and industry functions.
- Conduct regular client meetings site visits and familiarisation trips.
- Ensure excellent communication and coordination with operational teams to deliver outstanding client experiences.
- Maintain accurate sales activity records and pipeline management through OPERA.
Qualifications :
Skills and qualities:
- Proven track record in sales business development hospitality sales sports sales or a related commercial role.
- Strong networking negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated proactive and able to work independently.
- Passionate about sport with a particular interest in golf.
- Energetic enthusiastic and highly driven.
- Strong team player who can collaborate effectively across departments.
Desirable:
- Experience within hospitality golf leisure tourism or sports-related industries.
- Knowledge of corporate golf events and membership structures.
- Existing network within the golf sports or corporate sectors.
- Familiarity with OPERA and Lightspeed or similar.
