A successful Specialist Languages College in Luton is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Spanish Teacher to join its thriving Modern Foreign Languages department from September. The successful candidate will teach Spanish across Key Stage 3 Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 delivering engaging and intellectually stimulating lessons that develop students speaking listening reading and writing skills.
Students study a broad curriculum covering grammar translation authentic texts literature and the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Spanish examinations while encouraging confident communication independent learning and cultural appreciation.
You will also contribute to the wider life of the department through language clubs international projects educational visits exchange opportunities and enrichment activities that foster a lifelong enthusiasm for modern foreign languages.
Teach Spanish across KS3 KS4 and KS5
Deliver engaging challenging and well-structured lessons
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Spanish examinations

Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development

Essential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Spanish at secondary level
Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 confidently
Strong subject knowledge of the Spanish language and Hispanic culture
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Desirable
Experience teaching A-Level Spanish
Ability to teach a second language such as French
Experience organising language enrichment activities or international exchanges
A proven track record of delivering excellent student outcomes
