An inclusive Secondary School in Hertford is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring Spanish Teacher to join its successful Modern Foreign Languages department from September. The successful candidate will teach Spanish across Key Stage 3 Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 delivering engaging lessons that develop students speaking listening reading and writing skills.

Students follow a dynamic curriculum that explores the language culture and traditions of the Spanish-speaking world. You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Spanish examinations while fostering confidence cultural awareness and a genuine enthusiasm for languages.

You will also contribute to the wider life of the department through language clubs cultural celebrations educational visits exchange opportunities and enrichment activities that bring language learning to life.

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching Spanish at secondary level

• Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 confidently

• Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills

• Ability to inspire students of all abilities

Desirable

• Experience teaching A-Level Spanish

• Ability to teach a second Modern Foreign Language

• Experience organising language trips or cultural events

• A proven track record of delivering excellent student outcomes
