A welcoming Catholic Secondary School in Peterborough is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring Spanish Teacher to join its successful Modern Foreign Languages department from September. The successful candidate will teach Spanish across Key Stage 3 Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 delivering engaging lessons that develop students speaking listening reading and writing skills.

Students study a rich curriculum covering Spanish language literature culture and global perspectives. You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Spanish examinations while encouraging fluency confidence and a genuine enthusiasm for the Spanish-speaking world.

You will also contribute to the wider life of the department through language clubs cultural events trips abroad exchange opportunities and enrichment activities that bring language learning to life.

• Teach Spanish across KS3 KS4 and KS5

• Deliver engaging and challenging language lessons

• Assess progress and provide high-quality feedback

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

• Experience teaching Spanish at secondary level

• Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 confidently

• Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills

• Ability to inspire students of all abilities

Desirable

• Experience teaching A-Level Spanish

• Ability to teach another Modern Foreign Language

• Experience organising language trips or cultural activities

• A proven track record of delivering strong student outcomes
