Are you a talented Sous Chef looking for your next challenge in a kitchen that champions fresh seasonal cooking Were so excited to be assisting a much-loved countryside gastropub set in a beautiful village just outside Bristol as they search for an ambitious Sous Chef to become an integral part of their close-knit team.
Youll be wondering whats in it for you as the Sous Chef
- 35000 per annum plus 7000 service charge
- Working alongside a passionate and supportive Head Chef
- Working 45 hours per week
- Cooking with fresh locally sourced seasonal ingredients
- Opportunity to develop your skills within a quality-led kitchen
Responsibilities as the Sous Chef
- Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Preparing and delivering beautifully presented dishes using the finest seasonal produce
- Leading the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence and ensuring consistently high standards
- Mentoring and developing junior chefs helping to build a positive and motivated brigade
- Assisting with stock control ordering and maintaining excellent food hygiene standards
