Sourcing (Indirect) Specialist
Job Summary
Role Summary / Purpose
The Sourcing Specialist Indirect will support the execution of sourcing and contract management activities across indirect categories working closely with the Global Commodity Lead.
The role focuses on day-to-day sourcing execution contract renewals supplier coordination and project support across indirect spend addition to sourcing responsibilities the role will also support indirect buying activities ensuring efficient execution of purchasing processes and supplier coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Execution
- Execute sourcing activities across indirect categories (professional services facilities MRO utilities IT & Telecom etc.)
- Support implementation of global indirect sourcing strategies and manage RFQs
Contract & Supplier Management
- Manage contract renewals amendments and execution activities
- Engage suppliers for quotations negotiations and ensure cost competitiveness
Project & Buying Support
- Support sourcing for projects including capex equipment and engineering services
- Assist in indirect buying activities including PR-to-PO support order placement coordination with stakeholders and managing Invoice queries
Stakeholder Coordination
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering facilities operations HR finance)
- Ensure smooth execution of sourcing and procurement activities
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Business Engineering Supply Chain or related field
- 3 6 years of experience in sourcing/procurement with prior exposure to indirect categories
- Experience in contract review and commercial understanding
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a hybrid/remote setup
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP or equivalent)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environment
- Exposure to indirect sourcing and contract management
- Member or working towards membership of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply/APICS
- Strong data and analytical skills; proficiency in Advanced Excel Power Query
