Job Summary
Kerry Robert Associates is working with one of Londons newest and favourite Italian restaurants looking for a talented confident and customer-focused Sommelier to join their team.
This independent restaurant offers a warm relaxed neighbourhood atmosphere with around 48 covers serving Italian home-style dishes designed for sharing alongside a carefully curated wine list from the owners own cellar.
As an experienced Sommelier you will be:
As an experienced Sommelier you will be:
- Familiar with Italian wines and have great communication skills
- Working alongside the restaurant team and the Cellar playing a key role in delivering a thoughtful and confident wine service
- Recommending wines and suggesting food pairings
- Assisting with wine list development tasting notes and seasonal updates
- Developing wine knowledge across the service team by leading tasting and briefing sessions
- Maintaining high standards of cellar organisation and storage stock control and inventory
- Liaising with suppliers
Working basis:
- 4042 hours per week
- Restaurant closed on Mondays and Tuesdays
- Immediate start
Salary and benefits:
- Salary circa 42000
- Paid overtime
