Job Summary
4-month contract role with a local authority
Summary
- This is a 4-month contract role with a local authority focused on providing project stakeholder engagement and communications support for the Solar PV and Battery Storage Energy Services Programme. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the delivery of approximately 60 renewable energy projects ensuring effective communication stakeholder coordination compliance with statutory requirements and achievement of project objectives related to time cost quality and governance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as a key point of contact for contractors schools planning authorities DNOs and council departments.
- Support stakeholder consultations and engagement activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate effective communication between project teams and stakeholders to ensure issues are identified and resolved promptly.
- Promote collaborative working to support successful programme delivery.
Requirements:
Essential Experience Required
- Experience supporting the delivery of projects or programmes within a public sector energy construction infrastructure or related environment.
- Experience managing stakeholder engagement and communications activities.
- Experience coordinating multiple workstreams and competing priorities.
Essential Qualifications Required
- Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent qualification or relevant experience.
- Qualification in Project Management Business Administration Communications Sustainability Energy Management or a related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
Additional Information
- Working hours: 37 hours per week.
- PAYE: Pay/DAY (Please specify on admission)
- UMB: 284.54 to 316.15/DAY UMB
- Office location: County Hall Chichester.
- Working arrangements: 30 or 37 hours (please specify on submission).
- Hybrid: 2-3 days required to be present in the office.
- We work on a bi-weekly schedule.
