Enterprise Services is part of the Chief Information Office of Santander Technology and Operations providing enterprise-wide systems and support services that help run and transform the banks IT data and business capabilities. Specifically this role will support the calculation Regulatory Reporting in CFO

THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE

Enterprise services is looking for a Software Engineer based out of Milton Keynes. FTC 20 Months

As a Technical Lead in Enterprise Services for Group Reporting you will be responsible for the technical delivery operation and control of systems data flows and processes supporting Group regulatory reporting.

The role will act as the principal technical interface between Group Regulatory Reporting Finance Risk Data and Technology teams. It will ensure that reporting data is complete accurate timely traceable and appropriately controlled from source systems through to Group reporting platforms and submissions.

In the context of customer migration the role will lead the technical integration of TSB-originated data into Santander UK reporting architecture including the design and implementation of data interfaces reporting configuration consolidation processes controls testing and migration readiness. The role will support reporting across capital and loan tape regulatory reporting requirements

Were shaping the way we workthrough innovation cutting-edge technology collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the team across multiple locations providing full management of the product lifecycle (design development Implementation test & deployment) including post release

  • Mentoring and developing individuals across multiple squads on design patterns solution design technical integration; using your experience and demonstrating your passion to define fit-for-purpose engineering designs/solutions.

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs

  • Design and implement technical controls covering data quality access and reporting integrity.

  • Environmental setup testing and parallel runs execution and migration readiness activities.

  • Resolve key dependencies and issues reporting delivery risks to senior governance forums and generation of reporting packs

  • A working knowledge and understanding of GenAI tools

Professional Experience

  • Demonstrated leadership in guiding engineering teams setting technical standards and collaborating with product owners and governance stakeholders in regulated environments to deliver resilient auditable and production-ready solutions. (Required)

  • Extensive experience leading the design delivery and operation of cloud-native data and software platforms on AWS with hands-on expertise. (Required)

  • Experience working withing Financial or Banking companies (Required)

Education

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience (Required)

Salary Range:


59200.00 - 88800.00 per annum (depending on experience)

This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills experience qualifications and location.
