Job Summary

As a Software Engineer reporting to VP - Product Management youll play a critical role in designing and delivering sophisticated software solutions that power Nasdaqs AxiomSL AI product. Youll work across the full development lifecycle - from architecture to implementation - bringing your expertise to a fast-growing innovation-driven team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design develop and implement scalable software solutions across new and existing applications and systems architecture.

  • Lead technical analysis of complex assignments - coding testing debugging and delivering robust outcomes.

  • Drive security-conscious development practices and ensure cross-platform compatibility across products.

  • Build reliable integrations between AI services structured data sources and enterprise platform components.

  • Mentor team members championing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field or equivalent practical experience.

  • Strong software development experience including Python for building scalable backend services integrations and data-driven applications with strong SQL skills for working with structured enterprise data.

  • Experience building and integrating APIs services or platform components within enterprise application environments including data pipelines transformation and validation.

  • Experience working on AI/ML-enabled products or platform capabilities including integrating or delivering AI-driven solutions in production or near-production environments.

  • Clear communicator with proven ability to collaborate across engineering product and client-facing teams in fast-paced matrixed environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree in a specialised area such as financial markets mathematics or computer science.

  • Experience in fintech capital markets or regulated technology environments.

  • Familiarity with emerging AI technologies and their application within enterprise software platforms.

This position is located inLondonand offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment with at least 3 days per week in-office subject to change providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
