The successful candidate will teach Sociology at Key Stage 5 and will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons across the relevant A-Level specification.
You will introduce students to a range of sociological perspectives while helping them understand how theories can be applied to real-world examples. Students will need to develop strong analytical and evaluative skills and you will play an important role in preparing them for written examinations.
The role will involve regular assessment detailed feedback and targeted support for students who need additional guidance. You will also contribute to departmental planning and work with colleagues to ensure students receive a consistent and well-sequenced programme of study.
